As part of the Mug Root Beer campaign for Nackard Pepsi, I contributed to the development of engaging social media content and a nostalgic 30-second commercial tailored to college students at Northern Arizona University. The Instagram content focused on brand visibility and student engagement through a mix of paid, earned, and owned posts. These included hashtag-driven challenges like #MugUpForWinter, collaborations with NAU Greek Life, and fun event-based promotions such as Mug pong and root beer giveaways at tailgates. For the commercial, I helped conceptualize a heartwarming ad that portrays a young adult sipping Mug Root Beer and being transported to a childhood memory and symbolizing the brand’s nostalgic connection across generations. The tone of the content was playful yet sentimental, reinforcing Mug Root Beer’s message as a timeless, good beverage for shared moments.
